Upcoming movies in the second half of 2016

The first half of 2016 has been more than eventful. This does not take away fans expectation for the second half of 2016. 2016 has already seen blockbuster notably Kung fu Panda, Zootopia, Dawn of Justice, Xmen, and Captain America. From this weekend’s Universal Pictures Warcraft to the Rogue Nation, the year still has plenty to offer.

The June box office is already up and running. The early box office sees Me Before You and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows come out of the shadows indeed. The two are available on IMAX and other cinemas. The 2014 sequel is expected to do well. Me Before You offers all romantic couples a weekend thrill to make sure that they are not left behind. On the 10th with Warcraft, an epic adventure. Fans of actions, legend, and war, will enjoy the movie. Independence Day and Finding Dory will also be fun to watch.

It is undoubtedly promising to be an action-packed month. Early in the month, Warner Bros’ The Legend of Tarzan will premiere on first of July. The Purge 3 will also debut on the weekend. The second week will feature Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates and Captain Fantastic. July will also see the return of Ice Age in the fourth sequel dubbed Collision Course on 22 of July. It will battle it out on box office with Star Trek Beyond marking 50 years of the franchise.

In 2016, only August and September seems to slow down. In August, Kevin Spacey stars in the comedy Nine Lives. John Link (Mel Gibson) will reunite with daughter in Blood Father and other movies notably Suicide Squad, The Founder (the story of Ray Kroc) and Pete’s Dragon. September will see Patient Zero premiere in week one, Besties and Snowden on week three and Masterminds on week four. Plenty to look out for in Snowden and Patient Zero, though.

October will feature the action thriller Underworld 5: Blood Wars promises an epic battle. The Accountant starring Ben Affleck as a CPA guru also promises plenty to salivate. Following its successful predecessor, Ouija 2 will hope to outdo the first sequel when it debuts on October 21.

In November, movie enthusiasts will follow up Marvel Comics based, Doctor Strange and later thriller fans will be treated to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. December as usual promises a lull but Rogue Nation: A wars Story and Assassins Creed will seek to awaken the Christmas passion.
